The "2016-2022 China Light and Heavy Magnesium Burning Industry Market Supply and Demand Forecast and Investment Planning Suggestion Research Report" released by Bosi Data introduces the relevant overview of the light and heavy magnesium burning industry, the operating environment of China's light and heavy magnesium burning industry, and analyzes the current status of the light and heavy magnesium burning industry in China. 2. The competition pattern of China's light and heavy magnesium industry, analysis of the operating status of key enterprises in China's light and heavy magnesium industry, and the development prospects and investment forecasts of China's light and heavy magnesium industry. If you want to have a systematic understanding of the light and heavy magnesium industry or invest in the light and heavy magnesium industry, this report is an indispensable tool for you.
In 2014, China ’s exports of light and heavy burned magnesium generally showed a “volume increase and price decline” situation, and general trade remained stable. Among them, the export of light and heavy burned magnesium in the first to second quarters generally showed a downward trend, with both volume and price falling. Especially after a large number of foreign stockpiles were held at the end of the fourth quarter of 2013, the purchase volume in the first and second quarters of 2014 fell sharply. The transaction price is close to the cost line, there is almost no or no profit space, and the wait-and-see mood of foreign investors is strong, orders are still scarce, and the market is close to collapse. After the situation fell to the bottom at the end of the second quarter, after the joint efforts of the industry to reduce bids, the market situation began to improve in the third quarter, the transaction volume increased significantly, the price stabilized and rebounded slightly, and the quota for the whole year was completed. The trend of the whole year showed a shallow "V" shape.
In 2014, China's total exports of light and heavy magnesium were about 1.35 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 22%. Exports under general trade were 1.065 million tons (excluding the amount of customs declaration at the end of 2013 and the number in 2014). Among them, light-burned magnesium was 173,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 27.9%; heavy-burned magnesium was 571,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3%; Fused magnesium was 321 thousand tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%; magnesite 218 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 33%. The total export value was 390 million US dollars. The average export price is 366 US dollars / ton. Among them, light-burned magnesium was 230 USD / ton, up 0.7% year-on-year; heavy-burned magnesium was 290 USD / ton, down 3% year-on-year; fused magnesium was 580 USD / ton, down 7.1% year-on-year; magnesite was 280 USD / ton, year-on-year Down 13.2%.
There are three main reasons why China ’s light and heavy burned magnesium exports in 2014 showed a “volume increase and price decline”: first, the international economic downturn and insufficient demand. The export of light and heavy burned magnesium is in the buyer's market. Foreign merchants have strong bargaining power, and Chinese enterprises have weak bargaining power. Foreign merchants concentrate on purchasing in the fourth quarter of each year, and other times the purchase volume is relatively small, and prices continue to be lowered. In order to maintain their normal operations and market share, and also worry about penalties for wasted quotas, export companies have lowered their export prices, lowered the volume, and exported at near-cost prices, resulting in a decline in overall export prices. The second is the issue of statistical caliber. Due to changes in foreign purchases, a considerable part of the company's exports were concentrated in the fourth quarter, and a considerable part of the light and heavy burned magnesium that was declared for export in December was counted as being exported in January 2014. According to estimates and calculations, the number was about 160,000 to 170,000 tons in 2013, which is higher than in any previous year. Therefore, the lag in statistical time has led to a "virtually high" number of exports. Third, North Korea ’s light and heavy magnesium re-export trade has begun to increase again, and many of them have illegally exchanged certificates of origin and reprocessed bonded warehouses. In 2014, North Korea's re-exports of light and heavy magnesium reached 157,000 tons, an increase of about 10,000 tons compared with 2013. The re-export trade of light and heavy burned magnesium has pushed up China's export volume and lowered the average export price.
In 2014, China's light and heavy magnesium exports to 79 countries and regions in the world, among which the top five countries (regions) are: the United States, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, and Russia. The total exports to these five countries (regions) were 863,000 tons, accounting for that year. 81% of total exports.
